Purple Creative Co

ENTERPRISE @ HEATHERWOOD

Each year a group of secondary students form an Enterprise Company. The students decide on the company name and they make and sell seasonal gifts etc. Students discuss the allocation of the profits; they usually pay themselves a small wage and choose a charity to give the rest of the money to.

This year's company is called The Purple Creative Company

Heatherwood School

A 6th Form student Patrick Queen has a wealth of experience in various Enterprise companies and acts as an Enterprise Mentor.

Here are some of his views on the importance of Enterprise@Heatherwood.

  • “Important because it gives students a good insight on the world of work”.
  • “Gives students an experience of running a business and all the aspects linked with it”.
  • “It’s an enjoyable, fun way of learning”.
  • “It shows us how important it is to work as a team and value each others views”.

Thank you everyone for your continued support.
