We are having a very busy start to the New Year in S2 and there are lots of fun things to do.

In Literacy we have been using a story called ‘The Uninvited Guests’ about two brothers home alone who let their friends come round to play. They make a real mess in the house, our character puppets are so naughty! We especially like being squirted with the water pistol.

In our maths lessons we have been counting with different textured balls from the sensory tub. We have learnt a great song for counting and throwing them into a parachute.

Our History topic is Native America and we have made feathered head-dresses, small tepees and rainsticks and have enjoyed sponge printing some typical patterns and listening to Native American music. We are going to make a huge tepee in the corner of the classroom that we can fit inside.
